The people behind Twitter were incredibly lucky. They weren’t lucky because they had a great idea.
They weren’t even lucky that no one else had thought of their idea before them.
They were lucky that the system took just two weeks to build.
My staff and I get together for regular brainstorming sessions. We toss out ideas left, right and center. By the time we walk out of that room, we’ve got a white board filled with great concepts any one of which could bring in a steady stream of bucks.

how can i make my small business grow?
i have a small business catering for any person in the village and it does not grow so help how i can make it grow and make profit?
try advertising in different places. Not just in your village. Try and get an ad in somewhere

Advertise in local newspaper, put posters up in places people are likely to see them ie, bus stops, etc. Create your own website.

Publicity. You are competing with large hotel chains, restaurants and bakeries who cater also. Go outside the village and leave some business cards at all the restaurants, motels, etc. if they will let you. Purchase an old warehouse or building large enough to occupy several people. Decorate it up for a wedding style and get lots of artificial flowers that can change the color of the table settings and lease the building out with your catering services.
People always need a place to party be it a wedding, anniversary, birthday or buisness meeting.

Have an open day.Make a selection of your goodies and invite people to call in for a coffee and free tasting session with a view to taking orders.Maybe ask at your local shop if they would be prepared to give your food a trial.You will need your premises okayed by Environmental Health though.Good luck.

Sometimes here in the US in the grocery stores they give out free samples of food for people to taste and if they like it they go buy it,maybe something like that and then you could make up flyers and give them out to people!! You can always put up flyers around the villiage or neighboring villiages and put a ad in the local paper or the state paper!!! I hope this helps!!!

i would suggest you to get on with the internet and find some interesting recipes that you can tweak and change to suit your taste and be the only one that can make them, then advertise your success
