There’s a rumor going around.
It’s growing. It’s dangerous.
And I think I may have encouraged it.
People are starting to believe that Twitter is a sales tool. They see the site as a valuable resource that allows them to broadcast their sales messages and land new deals.

Horaayy..there are 4 comment(s) for me so far ;)
I had a few Twitter names that got suspended. Do I have any legal right to get them back in my “possession”?
Apparently, I broke some of their rules (unknowingly). However, it seems that some of these Twitter names might have actual monetary value. When I registered for them and was given them for a period of time before suspension, did I somehow qualify for legal possession of these names, that Twitter’s own policy violates for somewhat random and arbitrary suspension (and taking this "property" that was "mine" away from me?). Would love to hear a legal opinion on this.
Check the terms of service. The user names are identifiers that belong to Twitter.

I’m pretty sure their terms of service would prevent you from making such a claim.
There’s a reason services like Yahoo! and Twitter have those long, long terms of service with all that fine print. It’s because they have highly paid legal counsel to tell them how to avoid ridiculous claims like this one.
