July 3, 2009i want to have my own business (in Egypt or any where else) and i need an idea about that.
The business will depend on what else is in the area. There’s no point in setting up in a market which is already saturated.
If you’ve ever wanted something, but haven’t been able to find it, and had a "Why doesn’t anyone..?" kind of moment, these ideas will often make good businesses, because you’re usually not the only one.
Also, make good use of your talents. What do you do well that other people don’t? How do you use that talent to provide value to other people?

Amen to Kirun’s answer. Think about your talents, skills, interests, PASSION, before you jump into owning a business. You’re going to invest a lot of time into your business so it should be something you enjoy. Otherwise, without that passion or interest to feed you, you’ll get burnt out and quit before you really got started.

I used to answer these questions all the time, but then I noticed something. People were taking my best business ideas and putting them in play without me. I know! I couldn’t believe it either. But take a look around: The fast lane on a highway — yip that was mine, monster tacos, the easy button, flipping the bird, and no it wasn’t Al Gores idea — the Internet was mine too. So now I’ve learned my lesson and I keep a tight lip on what is the best business idea.
