It all depends on what you want to sell and what you can sell. There is money in every thing - from handmade paper products ( covers, greetings etc) to software. One can do sourcing of material. Establish contact with a local stores and find what they buy in volumes. If you can get them an alternative at cheaper price, they get benefitted and you have made inroads into that company. Software - is a great area. If you can get orders, there are thousands of programmers available to put that into action. I could source USB drive from China and sell as a corporate gift for a company. If you have contacts in a contact center, try selling 'pepper spray' for female employees, who work late hours!
